What is an AMC?


Association Management Companies (AMCs) offer staffing and expertise to professional societies, trade groups, not-for-profits and philanthropic organizations. AMCs offer specialized services to manage day-to-day operations as well as assist in advancing long-term goals. An AMC may provide services through two models: 

  • Full Service: turnkey management for all areas including daily operations
  • Outsourced services: support of particular project or area of operation, i.e. strategic planning or convention management

Utilizing an AMC can provide greater agility and financial advantages to Associations.
